A NOTE FROM THE LOST HILLS SHERIFF'S STATION ABOUT THEFTS FROM VEHICLES

If you see suspicious activity, please call the Sheriff's Station at: 818-878-1808.
The Sheriff's Department reminds you to lock your vehicles and remove ALL of your valuables from sight. 
Many of the calls are for vehicles that were not even locked. These thefts occur in all neighborhoods---both gated and not.

Never leave an extra key in a "secret" place outside. Never leave loose change or anything visible. Even a cell phone cord left plugged in could be enough for a thief to break in. Keep your registration, insurance, and other important papers in your wallet or purse. If equipped, always use your alarm system.
