Enjoy the celebrations but keep Topanga safe. Fireworks are illegal in Santa Monica Mountains!
Fireworks possess a special ability to mesmerize and enrapture people with its vibrant, sizzling colors and awe-inspiring display—truly evoking a sense of wonder and unity.
But for Topanga, fireworks can pose a life-threatening risk—and it’s illegal. Not only is Topanga designated a Severe High Fire Risk area, it is also one of the most difficult areas in the state to defend in a wildfire. And we all know, it only takes a spark.
For your viewing pleasure, here are some authorized July 4th firework shows near the Topanga area. Click below to find out when the shows begin, how best to get there, and if advance tickets are required.
