Topanga CERT Training is happening right here in the canyon — and this is a rare opportunity.
The County of Los Angeles Fire Department is hosting a FREE, in-person Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training in Topanga. This FEMA-approved, 20-hour training, taught by firefighters and EMS professionals, prepares you to help your neighbors when first responders aren’t immediately available. The eight CERT modules that usually take a month and a half are compressed into one jam-packed weekend. If you’ve ever thought about CERT training, this is the moment.
