TEMTF MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Topanga Emergency Management Task Force, a partnership of designated public agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community organizations is to ensure the sustainability of emergency management efforts and strategies for the Los Angeles County unincorporated area of Topanga. The next meeting will be conducted online on January 27, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Children from Kindergarten through the 12th Grade are invited to celebrate books, reading, and art by participating in the Los Angeles County Library's annual Bookmark Contest! Participants will compete for a chance to see their bookmark designs featured at their local library and across LA County.
National Preparedness Month - It Takes A Village!

So, during the National Preparedness Month campaign, the Topanga Town Council asks every Topangan to take the TOPANGA PREPAREDNESS PLEDGE to make our homes, families, neighborhoods, businesses and environment safe from disasters---especially wildfires since it is our biggest threat right now.
To make it easy for you to take the pledge plunge, each week between now and the end of October, we will feature a FAST FACT and a TOP TIP on OneTopanga.com that you can easliy do to prepare for an emergency event. Just follow the few easy steps we've outlined in this article and you will be on your way to making a difference for yourself, your family and community. On that note, here we go!
