SCE to Boost Rebates for High Fire Risk Areas

Rebate Increases Coming September 1

Those who live in a high fire risk area (HFRA) of SCE's service territory (Topanga!), can get more money back by participating in SCE's Marketing Resiliency Rebate Program. Starting on Sept. 1, rebates will be increasing for two key elements of the program:

- The Portable Power Station rebate will increase from $75 to $150.
- The Generator rebate for HFRA customers is currently $200.
- If you participate in an income-qualifying program (CARE or FERA) or are a Medical Baseline Allowance customer and reside in a HFRA, the Generator rebate will increase from $500 to $600.

SCE wants to ensure that its customers take advantage of resiliency programs. By increasing rebate amounts, we hope that more customers will participate, becoming more resilient and better prepared for outage emergencies.
