Free NOAA Weather Radio for Topangans

Get wildfire and disaster alerts without power or cell reception with a free NOAA radio

Through a special grant program, NOAA Weather Alert Radios are available for LA County residents living within Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones — that's us, Topanga! — where communications can be challenged by poor cell coverage and/or power outages.

Priority will be given to residents who require assistance to acquire a personal Weather Radio, as well as elderly or disabled individuals, or those with other mobility issues.

There will be two pickup events at the Topanga Library (122 N. Topanga Cyn. Blvd.)

When:
Saturday, August 13, 2022, 10 am – 12 pm
Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 5 pm – 7 pm
