Topanga Library Announces The Topanga Digital History Project
Topanga Digital History is a community-based history project that aims to preserve and explore the history of Topanga by sharing the personal stories of those that shaped it. The project is a collaborative effort between the County of Los Angeles Public Library and Topanga Historical Society. Its goal is to collect the Topanga community’s photographs, historical documents, and most importantly stories to help tell the unique history of Topanga.
View the project now at TopangaDigitalHistory.org.
Topanga Digital History is an ongoing project, and we will be adding more stories to the collection in the future. If you would like to contribute your story to the collection, please visit TopangaDigitalHistory.org and email us using the “Contact” button at the top of the page. We believe everyone’s story is worth telling, and will be a valuable addition to the history of Topanga.
The Topanga Digital History is supported by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
