Lucy's Bake Shop & Topanga Youth Services Present A Special Kid's Music Extravaganza
Eleven-year old, Lucy Babcock, a Topanga supporter and sixth grade student from Woodland Hills, CA has been selected as a Disney Summer of Service Winner to create positive change in her community through YSA (Youth Service Amercia). The grant will support Babcock in leading a community service project that addresses the issue of childhood hunger.
Service activities will take place Sunday April 30, 2017 from 1:00pm – 6:00pm at the Topanga Community Center, 1440 N. Topanga, CA 90290. At Lucy’s Second Annual Kid’s Charity Concert, youth bands will perform to fight childhood hunger. The lineup includes Alinea, Alone Together, Coyotes of Topanga, Max Tomack, Moxie, Permanent Record, and The Brothers Gage. There will also be food, activity, and information booths outside. This cause is important to our community because childhood hunger affects 1 in 4 children in Los Angeles. Get ready to rock childhood hunger.
